It's Snowing

White beautiful snowflakes are falling from the sky and gathering lightly on the ground, Christmas music is humming through the house, the Christmas tree lights are twinkling, there is a sweet smell of cookies baking (I bought a cookie candle), family is coming into town tomorrow. Now it feels like Christmas.

Baby Eli at 4 weeks enjoying his first Christmas season.

Megan's debut as Mary in the church nativity.

Since Megan was in the play, Henry decided he should be too. He also decided baby Jesus needed rocking and the live stock need talking to. However Megan instructed him that was not how the nativity was rehearsed.

Not to worry Henry is making his own theatrical debut this season as.....

Tiny Tim, from "A Christmas Carol"
You should really hear his line, "God bless us, everyone!" It really is cute, and even made Ms. Karen cry.

Ms Karen gave Henry a early present this year. Henry thinks his new "robot arms" are only so so, but Megan loves them and is constantly hopping around pretending she has a broken leg.

Have a Merry White Christmas, even if it is only for today.

We're grateful that Suzanne could come to help with the baby, and that John and Suzanne were here to share our Thanksgiving.

We're grateful that Bob Evans puts together a decent Thanksgiving meal

We're grateful for homemade rolls...

...the most painstaking lemon meringue pie ever made...

...and sweet kids.

We're so grateful for family
